With over thirty years in the business, I started my career in Cecil Court in 1985, as manager of No 1, specializing in Music, Opera & Ballet prints; whilst at the same time traveling throughout the UK and Europe working with the Trade as a wholesale print dealer.

With Panagiotis Chantziaras I established Paralos Ltd. in London in 1997, working with the trade and private customers and dealing in Antiquarian Maps, Prints and Books. We were later joined by Tim Bryars, and traveled and exhibited through out Europe, every month at the renowned Bonnington Map Fair and each year at the June International fairs in London.

With an amicable split in June 2004, Paralos Ltd moved to Greece, and Tim to his eponymous shop in Cecil Court. Located first in Corfu, and then in central Athens, merging with Panagiotis’ shop Saliminia in 2007, Paralos Ltd. continued to deal internationally, whilst having one of the largest stocks of Greek material in their shop in Panepistimiou, and then in Plaka , supplying all the needs of the Greek collector.

In 2010, it was finally decided to go global and on to the internet with paralosgallery.com Having for so many years been associated with the “ship” that is Paralos it was decided to retain the “ Paralos” appellation for this new venture. At the same time Panagiotis relaunched her sister ship “Salaminia” for the warm waters of the home port, at Platea.

Spiliadou in Nafplion.  Since 2015 the two businesses are once again in one “ship” under the
“Paralos” sails.
