One of the earliest town plans of Paris by the artist Hans Rudolf Manuel Deutsch [monogramm to lower right corner]; the view shows the fortifications of the city, with the river Seine running through the centre; important buildings are marked with a key to the upper left corner in strapwork frame; SHIELD WITH COAT OF ARMS, UPPER RIGHT CENTRE. Good impression; old ink additions, to margins identifying the various gates of the city ; centre fold split, without loss, repaired to verso with archival tape; creasing to upper centre margin and small hole from binding in upper margin.
